Description
Daniel Jackson, born in 1966, lives and works in London. Jackson's practice often deals with computer code, writing software to make gestural actions, manifested as drawings, animations, sound works and paintings.
The limited print edition '5,000 To A Point Somewhere' is part of the To A Point Somewhere series that spans 2005 - 2009. The works are carefully constructed by the structures and rules of software. In this case the rules are: Take a point in space. Choose a colour red from 1 of 255 possibilities. Draw a line from that point towards another point. Repeat 5,000 times.
Jackson has exhibited at Seccession,Vienna, Buerofriedrich Berlin, Freud Museum London and Apt Draschan, Vienna.
